The Wizard
of Oz is a tale about Dorothy Gale from Kansas. One day she caught up in a
tornado and carried away to a new land of Oz. Dorothy tries to get back home to
her Auntie Em and Uncle Henry, but to do so she must travel to the Emerald City
and receive the help of the great Wizard of Oz. In Oz she meets munchkins and a
beautiful good witch, Glinda, who helps her by giving her a pair of magical
ruby slippers and directs her to follow the yellow brick road. Along the road,
she befriends a brainless scarecrow, a heartless tin man, and a cowardly lion.
Together the group must work together against the evil spells of the Wicked
Witch of the West to get to Oz and their hearts' desires, while learning some
important lessons along the way.
